Microcrystalline Cellulose -JCELL (112)

Polyanionic-Cellulose

Microcrystalline Cellulose -JCELL (112) is partly depolymerized, odourless, white and tasteless crystalline powder, produced by high compressibility and porous particles. It is extensively utilized in the pharmaceutical industry to manufacture capsules, tablets and so on, either in dry granulation processes or in direct compression.

It also has many applications in structural and papers composites and the food industry. We can use it for oral dosage such as a swallowable tablet, blends, pellets premix, granules. It finds use in hard capsules for pharmaceuticals and/or Nutraceuticals. According to many types of research, microcrystalline cellulose is an excipient most widely used for direct compression. It also serves as a dry solid binder, disintegrant, lubricant, absorbent, filler or diluent, an anti-adherent.

Microcrystalline cellulose plays the role of a stand-in for higher-calorie ingredients. Its cell structure imitates fat, and it's usually present in deduced fat products. It can also be thickened and whipped in ice cream, whipped topping and desserts, making the food creamy without adding fat.
